Those who encountered the now-resolved issue said their Apple Watch rebooted while editing watch faces, making calls, using Siri AI, opening Apple Maps or the App Store , and recording workouts. After releasing iOS 27 last week, Apple is already testing a follow-up iOS 27.0.1 update for iPhones, according to MacRumors logs. iOS 27.0.1 will likely be a minor update with bug fixes and/or security patches. Shortly after Apple launches new iPhone models, some software bugs are usually discovered as the devices get into the hands of millions of customers around the world. This year, some iPhone 18 Pro users are experiencing Face ID issues , so it is likely that iOS 27.0.1 will include some Face ID-related bug fixes or enhancements at a minimum. watchOS 27.0.1 is already available for the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4. That update fixes an issue where those models may restart unexpectedly.
