After 326 days, iOS 26 has received its first jailbreak, thanks to the developers behind the popular Dopamine jailbreak. Lars Fröder, better known as opa334, today released Dopamine 3.0 , which adds support for a number of newer firmware versions, including iOS 26.0 and iOS 26.0.1 on devices with A12 or A13 chips. Another major addition in today's release is support for all devices running iOS 16.5.1 through iOS 17.3.1, significantly expanding the range of devices and software versions compatible with Dopamine. Apple supplier SK hynix invests $38B in AI memory — Image credit: SK Hynix On Friday, SK hynix announced that it has approved a 54 trillion won ($38.3 billion) investment to build two new semiconductor fabrication plants in South Korea. The investment includes 35.2 trillion won ($24 billion) towards the Yongin Y2 facility, which will produce high-bandwidth memory (HBM) and next-generation DRAM products. Apple obviously knows, and perhaps some of its retail staff have at least a clue, but for the rest of us, here's the best estimate of when the iPhone 18 Pro will be announced. Apple has held its iPhone launches in October, but since 2011 the only time it has done that was during COVID.
