A week ahead of the Google I/O event, during the Android Show stream, there were some iPhone -friendly Android features teased. We already knew about them. An Android smartphone and an iPhone Google I/O 2026 is taking place on May 19 and 20, and the search giant is warming up for its biggest presentation of the year. To prepare its users for that event, it held a smaller presentation on Tuesday about Android. The Android Show I/O Edition 2026 was a 40-minute prerecorded stream, introducing a number of changes to Google's ecosystem. Lady Gaga's "Mayhem Requiem" concert film will stream on Thursday, May 14, via Apple Music Live and at select AMC theaters across the United States. Apple Music to host exclusive Lady Gaga concert film on May 14 At 11:00 p.m. Eastern / 8:00 p.m. Pacific, Lady Gaga fans can head to the Apple Music app on their iPhone , iPad, Mac, Apple TV , or in-browser at music.apple.com to tune into an exclusive stream of the Mayhem Requiem concert film. In addition to streaming on the app, 15 select AMC theaters across the U.S. will show the concert at the same time. The premiere is free for anyone to watch; no Apple Music subscription is required. Apple today said Hearing Aid features are now available for the AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods Pro 3 in Italy , Romania , and Czechia , while Hypertension alerts have expanded to Israel . The Hearing Aid option allows the AirPods Pro to be used as an over-the-counter alternative to a traditional set of hearing aids. The AirPods Pro can improve sound to mitigate mild to moderate hearing loss, adjusting voices and sounds around the user to improve hearing. It can also set music, videos, and phone calls to optimal sound levels using a personalized hearing profile created after taking a Hearing Test. Loud Sound Reduction also prevents hearing damage from loud ambient noise by cutting down on high-decibel sound when using Transparency and Adaptive modes. Hearing Aid capabilities are available with the AirPods Pro 2 and ‌AirPods Pro 3‌ when paired with a device running iOS 26 / iPadOS 26 or later. In Israel, users will be able to get an alert if the Apple Watch detects signs of chronic high blood pressure. Alerts use data collected from the heart rate sensor over a 30-day period. Hypertension alerts are available on the Apple Watch Series 9 and later and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and later. Apple today announced that Apple Music subscribers will be able to stream a brand new Lady Gaga concert film this Thursday, in which the artist performed tracks from her MAYHEM album. In fact, at 8 AM Pacific Time on May 14, anyone can tune in for free (no subscription required) to watch the live stream premiere.
